En la Plazoleta de las Madres del barrio ATEPAM de Pehuajó se cumplió con la celebración del Día de la Madre, los 50 años de su construcción y la edición del libro que refleja dicho acontecimiento. Todo ello, además "porque queremos sumarnos plantando un árbol", tal como lo expresaron durante la ceremonia en que el jacarandá fue depositado en el paseo. Acompañaron vecinos e integrantes de "Y volverán..." que en la soleada mañana del sábado, disfrutamos de otra sensible acción en favor de la paz y la naturaleza.
El barrio ATEPAM es un barrio social, construido con el esfuerzo propio de los habitantes de dichas unidades que significa un aporte solidario y ejemplo, ya que todos ellos eran de diferentes oficios, había sastres, empleados, ferroviarios, sombrereros, algún albañil, jubilados, etc. que con aporte municipal hicieron su techo propio en un clima de solidaridad. Todos hicieron las casas de todos y luego sortearon sus ubicaciones. Ricardo Bernal, hijo de uno de ellos, rememora a través de un libro aquella acción comunitaria.
Desde "Y volverán..." y la Federación para la Paz Universal (UPF), agradecemos este gesto a todos los vecinos.
